Commenting Policy

I intend for this website to be a place where I can share my experiences, style, advice, ideas and opinions.  It is also a place for you, the readers, to share your own opinions and ideas.  I encourage my readers to leave a comment.

While I believe in freedom of speech and expression, I feel that it is my duty to impose some guidelines on my comments section.  All comments must be left in good faith.  Any comment that is unduly negative, personal or derogatory will be removed.  Repeat offenders will be barred from visiting this site.  This commenting policy is intended to make this website a positive place where readers can feel safe from negativity, put-downs and bullying.  This commenting policy extends to all links to this website, including my Twitter and Facebook pages.

Before you comment, I suggest that you ask yourself the following questions:

– Am I making this comment in the spirit of good faith?

– Am I responding or just reacting?

-Will this comment be unduly hurtful to another reader?

-Does my comment belong here?  Does it contribute to the discussion?

Thankyou for taking the time to read this, and please take it into account.  I don’t want my readers to feel discouraged from contributing to the forum I have set up, but it is important to ensure that comments are made thoughtfully and with consideration for others.
