This year has been a rough one, with lots of ups and downs.

But there have been plenty of smiles to balance out the frowns.

Although I lost my lover, and my precious Nana died,

There are so many things I’ve done this year that fill me up with pride.

I’ve made some super-awesome friends, and caught up with old ones too.

During times of fear and doubt, those babes make me feel brand new.

I’ve moved out into my own flat, and made it feel like home.

And every week I’ve watched with glee as this lovely blog has grown.

I chopped off my lovely mermaid locks, and tried out a new ‘do

My crochet skills have grown and I’ve sold a few things too.

I’ve travelled to a fair few cons and cosplayed each time as well.

I began learning how to drive, and so far it’s going swell.

And as the year draws to a close, I feel that I must say.

That I feel blessed so many awesome readers visit me each day.

And leave me gorgeous comments and write to me as well.

How much this support means to me, I don’t have the words to tell.

I hope 2013 has been kind to each and every one

And that you’ve had plenty of giggles, and hugs and loads of fun.
