Gamine makeup tutorial

The word “gamine” is often used interchangeably with the word “ingénue”.  It basically refers to a woman who possesses a natural, youthful beauty.  A gamine is feminine, delicate and bursting with life.  Famous examples of gamines include Audrey Hepburn and Twiggy.  Today, I’ve got a tutorial to teach you how to achieve a gorgeous gamine makeup look.

DSCF8581For this look, I used a lot of the products from my Urban Decay Oz: The Great and Powerful palettes.  I used the Glinda palette to create this look.  The colours I used were Aura, Illusion and South.  I also used the Glinda Ultra Saturated lipstick on my lips with a slight gloss over the top.

DSCF8582I kept the base very minimal, with a BB cream and concealer where it was needed.  A touch of blush and highlighter finished off the look. Glowing skin is key to this look.

Here’s a video that will show you how to get the look at home.

Let me know if you try this look at home.  If you’d like to request a tutorial, please feel free to get in touch.
