Meet the sponsors: June 2013

This month I’m very lucky to have some amazing people hanging out in my sidebar.  I’m so excited to introduce you to this month’s friends and sponsors!

Meet Jared from T Shirt Silo!

T-shirt Silo is a one-man operation run out of Austin Texas. The owner, Jared, runs this Etsy store as well as 4 other t-shirt shops on Etsy and one on Ebay. He makes his living working from home and making t-shirts for customers around the world. T-Shirt Silo’s designs include tees inspired by Star Wars, 80’s cult films, music and internet memes. Jared would love to hear from you if you ever have a question about any of his products or other stores.”

Jared is also offering 1 dollar off every purchase from his store to my readers.  To take advantage of this offer, use the code 1DOLLAROFF at the checkout.

Some of my favourites from Jared’s store:

Ghostbusters Tribute Shirt (I actually got this for Ross last Christmas and he wears it all the time!)

Monty Python and the Holy Grail Tribute Shirt (I got this one for my dad, and again, it was a hit!)

-This Dinosaur shirt never fails to crack me up.

Meet Jenny from Magic Cat Jenny!

JennyOutside

“I’m Jenny and I am a creator of many things.  I sew costumes and monsters, paint my face like animals, film and edit stories from my world and the worlds in my head, and write all about it in my blog. I have far too many ideas and projects and my blog is where I organize them all.”

You can find Jenny on her blog Magic Cat Jenny and her Youtube channel.  She also has an adorably geeky shop.  If you still want more Magic Cat Jenny, you can also follow her on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Some of my favourites from Jenny’s blog:

– Jenny is a huge fan of CATS, which made me very pleased because I am too! (Fun fact: my cat Jellylorum is named after a character in CATS).  Jenny does some amazing CAT makeup, but my favourite one is her Rumpleteazer.

-Jenny is also an avid crafter.  She makes awesome things like Nerdy Monsters and Harry Potter badges.  Here’s a look at her booth from the Whimsic Alley Craft Fair last year.

-So, we all know what a geek I am for Scott Pilgrim, right?  Well, Jenny dressed up as Ramona Flowers for Halloween last year.  Is this girl awesome or what?

Meet Violet from Violet LeBeaux!

violeticonbig

“Violet has been blogging longer than she cares to remember. She has loved massive hair, bling and cuteness for even longer than that. Violet spends most of her time trying to think of ways to make life prettier, posting said ways on her blog and drinking very strong tea.
Tales of an Ingenue covers topics like fashion, beauty and life in a crafty angle with tutorials and how to videos.”
Violet’s many online haunts include her blog and her two Youtube channels: one for tutorials and one for vlogs.  You can also follow her on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Deviant Art and Pinterest.
Some of my favourites from Violet’s blog:
– Violet’s hair and makeup tutorials are legendary.  I’m in love with all the 1920’s action that’s going on at the moment, and Violet has done a quick and simple 1920’s in 20 minutes tutorial just in time to celebrate the release of The Great Gatsby.
– Violet has the most adorable puppy in the world, Miss Lottie.  I adore this puppy photo spam post, featuring a million gorgeous pictures of the pup.
– For Halloween last year, Violet and her boyfriend Jimmy dressed up as Princess Bubblegum and Finn the Human from Adventure Time.  And it was fabulous.
A big Thank You to all my sponsors this month.  Your support really does mean the world to me.
