My 27th birthday wishlist.

So my 27th birthday is only a few weeks away.  I can barely believe that!  Can’t I have just a few more months of being 26?  No?  Oh well, I’d better make a birthday list then.

Can I be totally honest and tell you that I’m freaking out a bit about turning 27?  27 was always my scary age when I was a kid.  Like, turning 27 officially marks the point at which you become “old”. I know that in the grand scheme of things, 27 isn’t old at all.  93 is old.  104 is old.  27, not so much.  So I need to just quit it with the worrying, huh?

Are there any things on this list that you’d like for your birthday?

  1. I felt that way when I turned 21…and then again at 25. After that I had no issue and now I am 31. Everyone has their own milestones that they freak out about. It’s ok to freak out….probably not so ok to demand everyone buy you 21st cards on your 22nd birthday (that was me).

    • I think I felt the most bummed out on my 22nd birthday. My 21st was huge, so I felt a bit of an anti-climax the next year. 25 was a big one too though!

  2. I love those overalls!! I hope you get everything on your list! My birthday is next month, and there will be shoes, overalls, swimwear, and rings on my wish list 🙂

  3. I felt the same about turning 30, but now it’s passed, I realised it ain’t so bad. Having a younger partner who’s actually a lot more mature than you helps 😉
