I accidentally went shopping on Boxing Day.
I hadn’t intended to shop at all. Ross and I were going to head to the movies, watch Wreck it Ralph and then go home. But on the way back from the cinema, I noticed that Jay Jays was open. I have a fab pair of hot pink jeans from Jay Jays that I love. I’ve been waiting for Jay Jays to have a sale so that I can get more in different colours. So I jumped at the chance. My success at Jay Jays made me go a bit nuts, and we wound up shopping for several hours. Although I bought quite a lot of stuff, I didn’t actually spend very much. This outfit is made almost entirely of things I purchased on Boxing Day.
I have a bit of a love affair with playsuits. I only own one other, and it’s strapless. It’s great for wearing around the house, but I get annoyed that I have to keep pulling it up all the time. That’s why I almost never wear strapless tops. This one is even cuter. The neutral colour means that I can team it with so many things. It’s super comfortable and a great fit. I love it.
– Tortoiseshell sunglasses from Cotton On
– Black playsuit from Big W
– Black flatforms from K Mart
– Swarovski crystal necklace from my parents.
– Chunky diamente ring from Diva
In total, this entire outfit (excluding my jewellery) cost me exactly $19. The sunnies were $2, the playsuit was $7 and the shoes were $10. I love it when I can get an entire outfit for less than the cost of a movie ticket.
Did you go shopping on Boxing Day? What did you buy?
Wah, are you serious? That playsuit from Big W? Omg, I must get myself down there then! @____@
I know, right? I bought it on a whim, and I’d originally planned to wear it as pyjamas, but when I saw how cool it looked, I decided to make it a regular part of my wardrobe.
SUCH a cute outfit!!!
Thanks! I am really happy with it. Not only does it look cute, but it’s so comfortable and cool (which is a must. The last few days have been scorching here!)
I ❤ kmart for shoes! Soooooo cheap and cute!
I hadn’t shopped at Kmart in years, and I came home with two pairs of shoes. Both of them are really cute, and cost less than $15 each.
You can’t beat that!
Yes indeedy!
