I had almost too much fun shooting today’s outfit photos. I’ll explain why in a bit.
I’m still on a kick of wearing casual-and-comfy outfits. I had a tonne of blog work to get through today, and this is the outfit I chose:
– Pink knit headband from Cotton On Body
– Blue beaded necklace from Violet Town Community Op Shop
– Noodle Scooter tee from Target
– Black maxi skirt from Target
– Pink converse hi-top sneakers
– Amethyst ring
– ROCK knuckleduster ring from Diva
– Snake ring from Diva
I have a confession to make: both of the major components of my outfit today came from the Target girls’ department. I’m so short that I sometimes find it very difficult to get ladies’ clothes that fit me properly. So I will sometimes by clothing from teen and junior departments. The skirt is a relatively recent purchase, whereas I’ve had this tee since before Ross and I were dating. I think I was about sixteen when I bought it.
I decided that today would be a good day to try to take my first jump shots. I figured it was about time I gave it a go, because it’s just one of those things that bloggers do. Well, I’ve learned my lesson about following the pack. I didn’t take a single decent jump shot. They were all either blurry, or featured me with my eyes closed and pulling a weird face. There was even one where I was just crouched down, because I hadn’t jumped in time. I also got whacked in the tooth several times with my fantastic beads.
I debated whether I would even post the photos here. I just felt like such a doofus. However, I think you’ve all realised by now that my sense of humour is pretty good and I’m not afraid to laugh at myself. So here are some of the best ones. Enjoy:
Have you ever tried jump shots? Did they work out for you, or did you look as ridiculous as I did?
