I’m still finding it hard to wrap my head around the fact that 2011 has been over for nearly a week now. The year just seemed to fly by, and now that it’s over I feel slightly breathless. In order to get a bit of perspective on all that 2011 held, I’ve decided to take a look back at the year that was.
Things I did in 2011
Made the decision to leave Melbourne, adopted a new cat called Ringo, Met Nicholas Brendan at Armageddon, Lived with my lovely friend Sam, Said goodbye to Steph who was my housemate for two years, attended my cousins wedding, got a massive shock when I realised that I still had one year of uni to complete before I could get my degree, completed a psychology research project about memory and aging, attended Rocky Horror night at Red Bennies, travelled to Canberra with Ross to visit his sister and her boyfriend, got a retail job after months of job hunting and unsuccessful interviews, opened my own etsy store, had a ball at Supanova running about with the rest of my Scooby Gang, met The Sandman, discovered Talisman, attended Free Comic Book Day at All Star Comics, went the longest period of time I’ve ever been away from home, attended theViva Colour event at Kit Cosmetics, wrote about 500 articles on my blog, met Lady Smaggle andSarah Von for dinner, dyed a pink streak into my hair, saw Hairspray with Ross, held the first Dress Up For The Heck of It Day, was featured as The Australian Blogger Registry’s blogger of the month, sat in the Delorean twice and much more.
