Daily outfit 16/5/2011

It’s been a huge day today.  It’s the first day in nearly a week that it hasn’t been pouring with rain, so I took advantage of this by doing an epic amount of laundry.  Now I have several racks of various garments drying by the heater.

I headed into uni this morning for a panicked meeting with my research group.  The semester is drawing to a close, and so everybody is starting to get frantic about assignments and exams.  I feel very blessed that I don’t have to sit exams this year, so I have less on my plate than my classmates.  I have a very nasty assignment due in one week’s time though, so I will be working my butt off to get that all finished up this week.

I had a quick lunch at home before a brief trip into the city to take some pictures for an upcoming post.  I spent the early evening reading a great book on the bus home.  All in all, it’s been a pretty lovely day.

This is what I wore:

I am wearing:

– Navy velvet blazer from Tree of Life

-Pink and black corset from Target

– Black and white pleated skirt from Remember Me

– Black herringbone tights from Razzamatazz

-Grey suede booties (these are Tony Bianco, but I got them from a tiny op-shop in my home town for $5).

– Babushka brooch (gifted)

– Amethyst ring

– Heavy silver earrings (thrifted)

-Owl knuckleduster ring (gifted).

How has your Monday been?
