This afternoon I ventured into the city to meet an old college friend for lunch.  We went to the Hopetoun tearooms in The Block Arcade on Collins Street, and it was divine.  They had a huge array of cakes and light meals to choose from.  Best of all, they boast a massive tea menu.  I had a slice of lime tart and the Madamoiselle Grey tea, which is an Earl Grey blend with rose petals in it.  The food was delicious and it was the perfect place to chat and catch up with my friend.

– Pink diamente cross necklace from Diva.

– Black gloves from Lincraft.

It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.  Afterwards, we went out for a glass of champagne to celebrate the end of my exam, and so I was slightly tipsy and very jolly on the bus ride home.

I am super-duper excited for my party tomorrow night.  It’s likely that I won’t post at all tomorrow, because I have lots to do.  However, on Sunday there should be an epic photo post, so stay tuned.
